I grew up in the Rutland area and worked for several corporations as an electrical engineer. Twenty years ago we started a church in the Chicagoland area and ten years ago we came back to Rutland to pastor Calvary Bible. My role involves teaching the Bible in a practical and relevant way, building a team of partners in ministry and developing ministries around the five purposes of the church. I love to see people's eyes light up when they finally understand that Jesus is the answer to what they have been searching for. My wife and I and our three sons live in Rutland Town. For fun I enjoy yard work, volleyball and photography.
I am a Rutland native with 10 plus years of ministry experience and a Master of Ministry from Moody Graduate School and Seminary. I have a passion to encourage and equip families to live Godly spirit filled lives. My lovely wife Jenny and I consider ourselves a helpful resource for families who desire to raise Godly children. Our ministry approach is one of hands on involvement in the lives of our church family. On our days off from work, we enjoy spending time with our wonderful son Jacob, enjoying all that the VT outdoors has to offer, and just being together as a family.
I have a passion for the local church and love being part of a team for God. Nothing is more fulfilling than working on a project with the potential of eternal impact! I began employment at Calvary in December of 1999. At that time I was hired to organize and update the financial office. When that was complete, I moved on to where I currently serve as Administrative Assistant to the Senior Pastor while overseeing various volunteers, staff and ministry. My husband Dave and I have been married 25 years. We are blessed with two wonderful sons; Matthew and Kenneth. Matt is in his third year at UVM and Ken is in his second year at Gordon College in Wenham, MA. My husband is employed by IBM in Burlington and also owns his own contracting company “dMk builders”®. www.dmkbuilders.com. As a couple and as a family, we are committed to the mission of the local church and work closely together as a couple to handle whatever God has for us to do for His Purposes.
