Word of Life has just announced their plans for Memorial Day volunteer work weekend. Here is the information. If anyone has questions, contact Dave and Theresa Sunderland (tdksun@comcast.net), but individuals register on their own.

Memorial Day Volunteer Weekend is such an enjoyable time of reconnecting with many of our volunteer families.  What a phenomenal opportunity to fellowship and to prepare the Word of Life properties for the upcoming camping season.

Friday May 24 to Monday May 27. 

The Schedule is similar to last years:

                Friday dinner at the BI, pool party and ice cream at the Lodge

                Saturday work, Concert in the evening

                Sunday worship at the Lodge, work and evening free

                Monday – pack n go or stay and relax, but no meals will be available after breakfast

                More details will be coming.

Families with more than six children:

Our online registration form only has the capacity of registering six children.  If  you have more than six children please send Jan (janmcclain@wol.org) the names and DOB of the additional children

Youth groups:

                Youth leaders or group leaders should register each member separately. In the section marked ‘Group and campus information’ of each member enter the group leader’s name. This will assist Jan in arranging the appropriate housing.

Registration will close at noon on Friday May 10th.  Recheck your date and time entries to make sure they are correct so that we can accurately tabulate meal counts etc.  This year’s form has an automated reply with the waiver.  If you do not receive the automated reply please contact me.
